Northside Modern
Visual identity for a vintage furniture dealer.
Establishing a solid visual identity and online presence for a company specializing in collecting and selling modern vintage design with main emphasis on Finnish design heritage items. The identity takes inspiration from old mid-century modern furniture catalogues.
The brief included creating brand assets and templates, website, taking product photos and establishing a social media presence.

Visual identity for a fashion show.
KOE Fashion Show is an annual event showcasing the creations of young designers from LAB Institute of Design and Fine Arts. The identity is redesigned every year. For the 2023 show the theme was imperfection. The logo is cut out of tracing paper that the designers use while drawing their patterns. The paper was used in the promotional photos and as gift wrapping material for the guests attending the show.
In addition I created frame-by-frame animations using a scanner to give similar rough character to some of the videos as the logo has.

Garbadura
Visual identity for a clothing brand selling archival outdoor gear.
Garbadura sells archival outdoor clothing mainly from the early 2000’s. The goal is to appeal to individuals who enjoy the outdoors, the city, or somewhere in between.
The custom wordmark is drawn with angular features, most prominent in the letters G and A, giving both a distinct appearance intended to convey speed. The unicase letterforms draw inspiration from technical sportswear logos of the early 2000s. Similar details are reflected in the logomark, featuring swift paths that form the letter G. Logomark comes in two versions: a filled-in version and a lighter, stroked version. I animated both logos for possible future use cases.

WIP Grotesk
Work in progress typeface.
WIP Grotesk is the result of attempting to draw a bold grotesque typeface from memory without referencing any particular font. It features slightly off-kilter proportions and exaggerated inconsistencies, noticeable in certain letters; for example, the leg of the 'R' has a tipsy quality.
Currently it includes letters from A to Z, numbers, and a few stylistic alternates. The typeface was drawn using GlyphsApp and as the name suggests, is a work in progress typeface.
